	Munich, the “Capital with Heart“ is with its beautiful surroundings one of Germans most visited city. This is no surprise because the city offers so much: the Bavarian lifestyle, Germanys most popular breweries, and a breathtaking countryside are unique in Germany.
	Already since 1950 the Beer festival in the municipality Olching nearby Munich is organized and opened with a parade through the town. At the parade approx. 40 associations of the city are taking part and are accompanied by marching music bands and majorettes. The parade moves about 2 km through the city centre to the area of the beer festival; after the parade the festival is opened by the Major, who taps the first beer barrel.



	In the real centre of Munich, some steps aside the Viktuals Market, there is that impressive complex of the Schrannenhalle. The sumptuous reconstructed hall accommodates different shops and restaurants around a centre stages, which is used for various programs. The high visitor frequency during the weekend and the central situation besides most of the attractions of Munich are an impressive framework for this concert.
	A one hour drive southern of Munich, in the idyllic countryside in front of the Alps, there is the spa Kohlgrub in the centre of several attractions like the castle Linderhof, the village Oberammergau with its famous festival and the monastery Ettal. The spa concerts are served during this weekend by the music groups of this festival and they will meet a very typically Bavarian idyll at this place.
