San Marino is the oldest republic of the world and is located only a few kilometres away from the cities of Rimini and Riccione at the Adriatic Sea. Millions of visitors come up every year to San Marino to see the narrow lanes, the towers on the three rocks and to enjoy the breathtaking panorama from this natural rock terrace over the Adriatic Sea. History, art, culture and tradition together with the excellent Italian kitchen are a perfect combination for this meeting.

The second day starts with a concert of all choirs at the Teatro Nuovo in Doganan in San Marino,. Each choirs introduces himself with one song. This concerts ends with a “Grande Finale“, a common song of all choirs: Va pensiero from Verdi - the most Italian atmosphere you can imagine!

Friendship concerts of several choirs from different countries take place in typically and mostly unknown places of the region in theatres, concert halls or churches. This is a good way to see the cultural heritage beside the coast area. All choirs meet the first time at the opening ceremony in a lovely vineyard under old olive trees and surrounded by thousands of grapevines, where the wine for the next opening ceremony is still growing up. 

Church services on Sunday are the last musical highlight of this festival. Your choir can extend these days with stays in Florence, Venice or Bologna. Several air transport companies offer low-cost flights in this region.
