Taking place at the beginning of January in Paris and Ile de France, the Festival inaugurates the new musical season with a series of concerts in churches, concert halls and other institutions while creating opportunities for French and foreign choirs to meet and fraternize.

The highlight of this festival is without any doubt the closing ceremony, a Gala Evening at the UNESCO conference hall, the incontestable symbol of tolerance and harmony uniting the singers of all the choirs for one spectacular concert event. All of the nations participating in the Festival will be represented. After the concert there is a cocktail for all participants in the UNESCO building - one more possibility to meet singers from all over Europe and to hear their songs. This final collaborative event represents a rare moment of emotion in all the hearts.
