The striking contrast that Paris produces is its permanent quest for modernity coupled with its will to preserve the remains of the past contributes to the singularity of this cosmopolitan city. Paris is a city in perpetual motion. A destination that lends a richness of emotion to discover or rediscover without moderation! Taking place at the beginning of January in Paris and Ile de France, the Festival inaugurates the new musical season with a series of concerts in churches, concert halls and other institutions while creating opportunities for French and foreign choirs to meet and fraternize. The highlight of this festival is without any doubt the common concert in one of the most famous churches in the heart of Paris: La Madeleine. All of the nation’s participating in the Festival will be represented. After the concert there is a cocktail for all participants - one more possibility to meet singers from all over Europe and to hear their songs. This final collaborative event represents a rare moment of emotion in all the hearts, which will be for a long time.
Programme Each choir will get an individual programme - here you see an example for the stay in Paris. Thursday: Arrival in Paris and check-in at the hotel. In the evening boat cruise at the Seine river in the centre of Paris. Friday: Guided tour in Paris to get impressions of this lively city. In the afternoon there is some time for individual tours to Montmartre or other quarters in the centre. In the late afternoon preparation of the friendship concert with a French hosting choir and 2-3 foreign choirs in Paris or surrounding. This concert will be followed by a drink with all participants. Saturday: In the morning there is time for individual tours, visit of a famous museum like the Louvre or for shopping. At the late afternoon preparation for the common concert of all participating choirs in the famous church of La Madeleine in the centre of Paris. Cocktail after the concert to meet the other choirs. Sunday: Departure or church service on request.

| Our choir participated already in Paris in 2006. At the time, the great choral concert has been in UNESCO. A great experience! In 2012, the final concert was in in the magnificent cathedral "La Madeleine" - really great! The UNESCO as a venue was quite adequate - but the church was just wonderful. The organizers did everything to underline this meaning content.
