Programme: This is an example for the programme for your orientation. All choirs will get individually programmes according to their additional bookings.
Types of choirs This event is open for all types of choirs. By dividing the choirs to different friendship concerts, all level of performances can be respected.
Programme:
Friday:
Arrival in Amsterdam till 16h. Check-in and prepare for the friendship-concert in the evening. Meet the local guide and enjoy a welcome-drink and first information. Drive to the friendship-concert in or around Amsterdam. After the concert meeting with the other choirs with a glass of wine or beer. Come back to the hotel before midnight.
Saturday:
The breakfast will be followed by a canal cruise in the centre of Amsterdam for about 1 hour. After this there will be a guided tour in the centre and free time for an individual lunch. In the afternoon the choirs prepare the common concert, where each choir performs one song of his choice. This concerts end with a famous common song: „Tulips from Amsterdam“. Drive back to the hotel and visit the gala-dinner in the evening with candle-lights and an extraordinary buffet in a ball room with music and all participating choirs. The dinner will end about midnight.
Sunday:
Breakfast. Travel home depending of the distance or extension in Amsterdam.
Coach tour: Coming by coach to Amsterdam, the coach must be available for all transfers.
By flight: Have a look to different no-frills airlines offering flights to Amsterdam. Music&friends can offer all ground transportation in private coaches.
Extension: Planning an extension, choirs have the choice to visit fishing villages in the surrounding of Amsterdam or singing at a church service on Sunday. Ask for our quotation.
