Thursday:

Choirs will be arriving throughout the day. Those traveling by air will be welcomed upon arrival at the Charleston International Airport by a tour manager.  Together, transfer by private motor coach to your accommodations in the heart of the city. Those arriving by motor coach will be greeted upon arrival at the hotel by their tour manager. After checking in, explore the beautiful center of the city during an orientation walk before departing for the Opening Ceremony. Enjoy the opportunity to get to know the other participating choirs and meet city officials.  Later in the evening, dinner can optionally be arranged for the choir at a local restaurant.

Friday:

Following breakfast, transfer to a senior center or to another community venue to perform a concert. After the concert, enjoy time to meet the audience.  The remainder of the afternoon is free to explore some of the local sights, try the local restaurants for lunch, and enjoy the variety of shops, street performers, and local artists. In the evening, a dinner cruise can be arranged for the choir. Enjoy the breathtaking views of city from the water and the surrounding coast.

Saturday:

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a visit to the famous Boone Hall one of the south’s most handsome plantations. Tour the Plantation and also perform a concert there as part of the festival concert series. Return to Charleston for lunch. This afternoon perform a concert in one of Charleston’s lovely churches in the centre of the old town as part of the festival Concert Series. After your concert enjoy time to visit concerts by other guest choirs taking place through the city centre. The city will be alive with Choral Music this afternoon! Following the concerts, all choirs will join together for the Closing Ceremony Reception.

Sunday:

After breakfast, transfer to a local church, where you will perform as part of the worship service. Following the service, enjoy an opportunity to join the local congregation for some fellowship time. After enjoying lunch in the centre of the old city, say farewell to the other choirs and the host city before returning home.
